Wagana Dancers Visit Mount Victoria Public

24 May 2018

On Thursday 24th of May the Wagana Dancers came to Mount Victoria Public School to perform. They did several wonderful dances that were based on native animals. First, they showed us the dance about the Crow, as well as the Emu and the White Cockatoo. They also painted ochre on people and tought us about the significance of Totem animals.

Some students were taught the dance of the emy and they performed it for the whole school. It was a great experience for Mount Victoria Public School and, we enjoyed it!
