At our school we aim to create a safe, respectful and supportive school comumunity that includes everyone. This week we will be implenting a new postive behaviour award system to recognise and reward students when they are making positive choices while interacting with others across the school. These awards will be called "Busted being your Best!" and they will be handed out to students to place in the letterbox in the school hall and 5 students will be drawn out each Monday and be given a ice block during lunchtime.
These new awards allow teachers to reward students when they are being their best selves; being respectful and supportive with each other, staying safe on the playground and accross the school grounds and being responsible for creating a caring and friendly school environment.
Rewarding the positive choices all of our students can make to keep us all learning and playing 'Together in Harmony" will further help to reduce the possiblity of bullying behaviours occuring.
